 Francesco Del Boca President |
Francesco Del Boca was born in Boca (Novara) in 1952. He began his career as an entrepreneur in the field of road haulage and energy in 1972, when he took over the family business. Appointed President of Italy’s Confartigianato Trasporti (the National Road Haulers Confederation) in 2004, he has been re-elected in 2008. In 2010 he has been elected President of Novara’s small business association (Confartigianato Imprese Novara VCO). He chairs Unatras, the national association gathering together a large part of Italy’s main road transport organizations accounting for 80% of road transport undertakings in the country. Del Boca is a member of all public bodies in the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure whose components are drawn from road transport associations. He is also Vice-President of "Comitato Centrale dell’Albo”, the governing body of the National Road Haulers’ Register. As UETR President, he chairs the UEAPME Transport Forum, the cooperation platform bringing together SMEs from manufacturing and repair of road vehicles as well as road transport. Mr. Del Boca holds a degree in Economics and Business Studies from Università Cattolica of Milan and a postgraduate specialization in Accountancy. |
